T-Bones Announce 2008 Schedule

10/24/2007 12:53 PM -

The Northern League and the Kansas City T-Bones are happy to announce the 2008 schedule.  A July 4 home game and each half’s finales at CommunityAmerica Ballpark along with the Friday, May 23 home opener highlight the 2008 schedule.

The T-Bones will open their season on the road in Winnipeg on Thursday, May 15 with a four-game set and the start of a seven-game roadtrip.  The T-Bones then open their home schedule against the Schaumburg Flyers with a four-game series beginning on Friday, May 23 at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

The T-Bones will have their longest homestand of the season June 3-10 welcoming in Winnipeg, Fargo and Joliet.  The T-Bones longest roadtrip in ‘08 will be nine games, something they do twice.  Kansas City will travel to Winnipeg, Joliet and Fargo for a total of nine games June 24-July 3.  The other nine-gamer is August 5-14 with stops in Schaumburg, Gary and Joliet.

The T-Bones are also excited to be at home again on July 4.  The T-Bones open a three-game homestand against the Flyers on Independence Day to close out the first half.  The T-Bones will again put on their traditional highly acclaimed postgame fireworks spectacular.  Kansas City starts the second half the same way they did the first, on the road.  This time the squad resumes play in Gary for four games before returning home for seven.  The T-Bones will conclude what figures to be an exciting season with a six-game homestand August 26-31 at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

Ticket prices will remain the same with the exception of Prime seats.  The limited number of available Prime seats will increase 50 cents for the 2008 season.  Berm tickets remain an affordable $6 while 91% of fixed seating remains the same price.  Parking, as always, remains free at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.  As previously announced season seats are on sale now with group ticket packages going on sale January 17.  Single game tickets will go on sale in April.

All dates are still subject to change and game times have not been announced.
