KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Kansas City T-Bones have announced the details of Fan Appreciation Day, taking place on September 2, the final day of the regular season.
Local radio station 99.7 KY is the media sponsor for the event and will be offering 99-cent berm seats for the game. The first 4,000 fans through the gates will receive a voucher for one free hot dog. Also, all fans through the gates will receive a raffle ticket and will be entered to win prizes all game long, including autographed Legends game jerseys, Fergie Jenkins autographed baseballs, and bobblehead dolls. There will also be a $1 beer special running from the time gates open, until the end of the fifth inning.
“In a record setting year where the T-Bones have set every personal attendance mark possible, we wanted to do something special for the fans to let them know much we appreciate them,” said T-Bones’ General Manager Rick Muntean. “It’s our way of saying ‘thank you for you all you do for us.’ Come on out, have a good time, and enjoy a great day.”
Season ticket holders are encouraged to stay after the game and pick up their 2007 giveaway items in center field.
First pitch is set for 1:05 with gates opening at 11:30.
