07/11/2003 11:13 AM - The Canaries came out to an early lead of 6-0, but the T-Bones rallied back with a never-say-die attitude. Designated hitter Eddie Pearson struck back in the sixth inning, by empting the sacks with a three-run jack to right. In the seventh inning, Pearson hit an infield single to bring the game to 6-4.
With Sean Murphy on base, Chad Shindle gave the Canaries his two-cents by whacking the ball over the wall in left-center to tie the game at 6-6. Both teams went scoreless in the ninth, however RHP Ramon Linares balked with runners on second and third in the tenth to force in the eventual game-winning run for the T-Bones.
The T-Bones are back home tonight at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, and will face the Fargo/Morehead Redhawks at 7:05 p.m..
