05/17/2004 2:09 PM - In addition to all 96 games on KCKN 1340, the Kansas City T-Bones will be making appearances on local television throughout the season.
The T-Bones television schedule kicks off with a bang on May 24th. Thats the day that major league baseballs all-time hit king, Pete Rose, will be making an appearance at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, presented by Roger Smith Toyota and Ace Sports and Tickets. The May 24th game, starting at 7:05 pm, will be televised live on Metro Sports.
Additionally, a number of T-Bones games will hit the air tape-delayed on Everest Cable, and one will be aired via tape-delay on KCWE 29. The dates of the tape-delayed games will be announced on the team website, www.tbonesbaseball.com.
This is a great way to expose fans who havent seen a game at CommunityAmerica Ballpark to what the T-Bones have to offer, said General Manager Rick Muntean.
