The USSSA Pride currently lead the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) with a 12-2 record and are equipped with some of the most offensive powerhouses in the league. The USSSA Pride talent includes two-time Olympian and reigning back-to-back NPF MVP Kelly Kretschman out of the University of Alabama, Sierra Romero, the 2016 NCAA Player of the Year and NPF homerun & RBI leader from the University of Michigan, and NCAA career home run record holder Lauren Chamberlain from the University of Oklahoma.
The Texas Charge roster features Taylor Gadbois from the University of Missouri, who leads the NPF in stolen bases; Katiyana Mauga out of the University of Arizona, who is right behind Chamberlain in NCAA career homerun numbers; Lauren Haeger from the University of Florida, who became the first NCAA athlete to win 70 career games pitching and hit 70 career homeruns, and recent Women’s College World Series (WCWS) stars Delanie Gourley from the University of Florida and Bailey Landry out of LSU.
