The Kansas City T-Bones are happy to announce that the Famous Chicken will be returning to Kansas City this season for a night of fun, family entertainment on Tuesday, August 3. Group tickets for this event are on sale now - act quickly to ensure a seat!
Named by The Sporting News as one of the 100 Most Powerful People in Sports for the 20th century, the Famous Chicken has been a staple in the entertainment field for decades. He has appeared in numerous events, from sporting events to concerts, and was even invited by former President George W. Bush to perform at the inaugural White House T-Ball Game in 2001.
The Famous Chicken made his first appearance at CommunityAmerica Ballpark during the 2007 season, delighting over 5,000 T-Bones fans in a victory over the Joliet JackHammers on July 31. It was his first appearance in Kansas City in more than a decade.
The JackHammers will again be on hand when the Famous Chicken returns on August 3 for a 7:05 p.m. contest.
The T-Bones begin their 2010 campaign against the RailCats in Gary, IN on May 20 and will host the RedHawks in their home opener on May 28.
