For the second time this season, CommunityAmerica Ballpark was recognized as an elite sports venue when it was named 2009 Professional Soccer Field of the Year by the Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA).

Home of the Kansas City T-Bones and Kansas City Wizards, CommunityAmerica Ballpark also plays hosts to numerous high school and college tournaments, as well as concerts and other entertainment events.

In September, CommunityAmerica Ballpark was named 2009 Northern League Field of the Year.
