In celebration of Buck O’Neil’s birthday (born November 13, 1911), the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum will be having a day-long celebration on Saturday, November 14 from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. All day long visitors can tour the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum for just $1. Children under 12 accompanied by adults will receive free admission.
The Kansas City T-Bones mascot, Sizzle, will make an appearance at the festivities from 11-noon. The T-Bones encourage their fans to head out and support the NLBM while celebrating the memory of a great ambassador to both baseball and our community in Buck O’Neil.
