KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Kansas City T-Bones and Royals Hall of Famer Willie Wilson are excited to announce the return of the Willie Wilson Legends Game to CommunityAmerica Ballpark on Saturday night, August 11.
The game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and will be a seven-inning exhibition contest. Proceeds from the event will benefit Project Walk Kansas City, a group dedicated to being seen as a beacon of hope and a means for people with spinal cord injuries to achieve their goals, mentally and physically. Project Walk Kansas City strives to be one of the leading organizations within the spinal cord injury and recovery community by their peers, medical professionals, research pioneers and clients.
Some of the players confirmed for the event include: Jody Davis, Bobby Dernier, Tito Landrum, Mark Whiten, Danny Jackson, Dennis Leonard, Daryl Motley, Bill Pecota, Frank White and, of course, Willie Wilson.
Before the game, at approximately 5:40, there will be an autograph session for fans with a paid ticket. Reserved seats for the game are $10, with general admission tickets only $7. VIP tickets are available for $100, and include a post-game party and meet-and-greet with the players. Tickets for the game are available by calling the T-Bones box office at 913-328-5618.
